Dodge Gone… I don’t think so
According to the author of this article Dodge as a brand will soon be gone. Somehow I don’t think so. The phrase “Chrysler Ram Tough” just doesn’t sound right. And what would they do with all of those “If you can’t Dodge it, Ram it!” bumper stickers? 
There are some brands that probably could be dropped. And Datsun did a nice job years ago converting everybody over to Nissan. (Yes, I am showing my age.) But seriously, doesn’t “Dodge” sound more like a truck maker? Would anyone buy a Pontiac truck? No, you want a Chevy. Trucks have historically had “grunt” names and Chrysler is just not going to cut it.
