Well, at least that question got answered…
My sister got to hear Alan Parsons speak at the college where she works. Apparently it was an excellent talk, and he did clear up one very important question that has circulated for years. Here’s a few lines from our IM conversation:
My Sister: He was well spoken. We left, though, when the question and answer session degraded into “I’m in a band, dude, will you produce our alblum?”
My Sister: Though he did clear up a long standing rumor.
Me: oh?
My Sister: Dark Side of the Moon was not made to interact with the Wizard of Oz.
Me: LOL
My Sister: First, imagine him rolling his eyes as in “I can’t believe that I am being asked that question again”.
My Sister: Then: “That’s not true.”
My Sister: Pause
My Sister: “It was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.”
Me: LOL X 2
